A few days ago, Microsoft started rolling out a major update to Windows 11. The Moment 2 update introduces a number of key features, including AI-powered Bing in the taskbar. Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 11 Build 25309 to Insiders in the Dev Channel, and it adds a new Sound Mixer, along with improvements to voice access and color management.
We heard about a new volume mixer back in January, when a "flag" was added to Windows to enable it. Windows 11's new Volume Mixer provides quick access from the taskbar to toggle audio output and control per-app volume, similar to third-party apps like EarTrumpet.

The new Volume Mixer experience not only lets you control individual apps and audio output, but also easily enables spatial audio technologies such as Windows Sonic or Dolby Atmos for headphones. Finally, the new volume mixer can also be invoked with the key combination Win + Ctrl + V.
It's unclear when the new Volume Mixer will be available to all users. Microsoft says it's not even open to all Insiders in the development channel, so the company can monitor feedback before making the feature more widely available.
Starting with this release, Microsoft is also making available on all SDR displays Automatic Color Management (ACM), a feature in Windows 11 version 22H2 that ensures that all colors from all Windows applications appear consistently on captured screens. in charge.
