Ableton has a history of enhancing its DAW gradually rather than fundamentally changing it. In that sense, Live 11 has a lot of updates and enhancements. These may be roughly categorized into three groups: improved tracking skills, new instruments that will primarily be used in a live performance situation, and improvements to Live's current sound creation, processing, and sequencing capabilities.

Four major new effects are included in Live 11's Suite edition: PitchLoop89 (a pitchshifting effect), Hybrid Reverb (a dual algorithmic and convolution reverb suitable for both standard and sound design-esque reverbs), Spectral Resonator, and Spectral Time (which, respectively, produce resonant comb filter-like effects and granular delay-style effects), and Spectral Resonator and Spectral Time.

Invent with modern tools
Discover Wavetable, Echo, Drum Buss, and Pedal: four new tools that enable the creation of vibrant new sounds using Live's instruments and effects.
Wavetable
Wavetable is a brand-new synthesizer created by Ableton that is instantly playable and has limitless potential. Using wavetables drawn from analog synths and a variety of different instruments and noises, you may shape, stretch, and morph sounds. Even if you don't have a lot of synthesis experience, you can start creating sounds right away, or you may use an accessible interface to explore its varied palette and potential.
fresh musical step sequencing design
Sequence and play notes from the same pad layout simultaneously; the bottom half of the layout lets you play notes immediately, while the upper half lets you arrange them.
Visualization of advanced devices
As you play, you may view Wavetable or Echo in fine detail on Push. When mixing, EQ Eight offers advanced Mid/Side and Left/Right EQ options in addition to spectrum analysis. Get Live's compression's real-time audio visualizations, including the ability to configure sidechain routing and view threshold settings and compression activity.
